Working With Me

We have all been through difficult times in our lives; difficult times that sometimes leave deep scars. I believe everyone has the capacity to heal. And I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to do so. I frequently find myself in awe of the strength and resilience I see in my clients. I have watched as clients go from the lowest point in their lives to a level of functioning and happiness beyond what they thought possible. I treat my clients the way I want them to treat themselves, with patience, compassion, and empathy. I believe in meeting clients where they are. Whether a client is struggling with deep issues of trauma and loss or dealing with more immediate stressors such as anxiety, depression, or relationship issues, my approach is the same. It is not always easy to admit we need help—even to ourselves. Sometimes it is hard to imagine we could ever feel better than we do right at this moment. But all you need to do is be willing to try something different. It is my job to hold the promise of what is possible.
